Privacy Policy

No Big Dish · Effective 2026-10-02

In short: we don’t collect your data. Everything the app knows stays on your device.

This policy covers the iPhone and Apple Watch app No Big Dish (做饭这件小事 in Chinese; the “App”) published by Zender, LLC, a Texas limited liability company (“we”, “us”).

What we collect

Nothing. The App has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party SDKs. It does not send personal information to us or to anyone else.

What stays on your device

To work, the App stores the following only on your iPhone and its paired Apple Watch:

Deleting the App deletes this data. If you back up your device to iCloud or a computer, this data may be included in that backup under your own Apple settings; we cannot access it.

Camera and photos

If you photograph a receipt to update your pantry, the image is read by Apple’s on-device text recognition. The photo is not uploaded and is not sent to us or to any third party.

Notifications

Timer alerts are local notifications created on your device. No push server is involved.

Apple Watch

The App and its Apple Watch companion exchange your current step and timers directly between your paired devices.

Exporting

You can export your cooking log as a file. It goes only where you choose to send it, such as Files or Mail. We never receive it.

Purchases

Payments are processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment details or your Apple Account information.

Children

The App does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.

This website

This website uses no cookies, analytics or third-party resources. Our web host may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and operation.

Changes

If a future version changes how data is handled, for example an optional cloud feature, we will update this page and the App Store privacy details before that version is released, and explain the change in the App.
